Thread poetry is all about the art of handicraft captured on fabric. From the My Dear Jane collection, Sophia Drescher has created a loving homage to the art of sewing and embroidery, showing workpieces with the materials that are used. Between delicate flowers and fine feathers, you will discover spools of thread, embroidery rings, scissors, needles and buttons, framed by needle and thread. These harmoniously arranged motifs form an enchanting all-over design that combines tradition and elegance. Thread Poetry is a versatile companion that is ideal for small-scale sewing work such as patchwork or English paper piecing but also larger projects such as cushions, bags or table runners. Be inspired by thread Poetry and give your projects the grace and attention to detail that this homage to needlework exudes - a material that tells stories of creativity, patience and the joy of designing.
